Chaitra Navratri Celebration

Jammu, Mar 23: The staff and the students of Humanity Public School, Bassi Kalan, Bari Brahmana celebrated the beginning of the Chaitra Navratri festival with full of religious fervor. Navratri means nine nights where the three Goddess Dugra, Laxmi and Sarswati are invoked. These Goddesses are symbol of three prime qualities named strength, wealth and wisdom.
The Session’s last celebration started by offering prayers to Goddess Durga by the Principal Mr. Gaurav Charak, Vice-Principal Mrs. Anku Charak, Senior Incharge Mr. Akashdeep Raina, Incharges of different wing Mr. Keshav Raj Sharma, Mr. Ajay Sharma, Ms. Namrta Sharma, Mrs. Vandana Sharma and Mrs. Aparna Billowria.
Angel a student of class 6th presented an eloquent topic on Navratri in English. Mrs. Sheetal Gorka of Middle wing presented a well-spoken speech on Navratri in hindi which was appreciated by all.
Later on, the girls of class 7th represented a melodious bhajan in the praise of Goddess Durga prepared under the guidance of their music teachers, Mr. Rajan And Mr. Abilash.
Keshav Raj Sharma Incharge Hr. Sec. wing enlightened the staff and the students through his wonderful speech on religious importance of Navratri. The Celebration ended with the words of wisdom by Principal Mr. Gaurav Charak who shared his views on the pious festival of Navratri and informed students about the different incarnation of Goddess Durga.
The Vice-Principal Mrs. Anku Charak under whose guidance, all this programme was carried out also wishes the staff and the students of school on the commencement of Chaitra Navratri.
