Fulfilled near impossible task of connecting Kashmir with rest of nation by train: Kavinder
3/27/2023 11:19:27 PM
Early Times Report
JAMMU, Mar 27: Senior BJP leader and former deputy chief minister Kavinder Gupta on Monday said that the BJP government led by PM Narendra Modi has realized the dreams and aspirations of the people of J&K.
In a statement issued to media fraternity, the BJP stalwart said that Centre has been keen to change the development profile of J&K and for this it has been accomplishing development with an exemplary pace. He said that rail connectivity between Jammu and Srinagar and to all other destinations across the country is like dream coming true for the people of the country especially those belonging to J&K.
Kavinder said that connecting Kashmir with rest of the country through rails was a near impossible task but with strong resolute the Modi Government has realized the same with extreme levels of proficiency. He said that J&K is about to witness economic boom after the trains start chugging between Jammu and Srinagar as trains bring prosperity along.
The former Deputy Chief Minister reiterated that the Article 370 was the main bottleneck restraining development in the UT but the farsighted step taken by PM Modi to make this contentious Article of Constitution null and void has removed all the hurdles and today the J&K is moving steadily on the path of development with almost all the residents of the UT extending unprecedented support to government.
Kavinder said that PM Modi has been meticulously fulfilling all the promises made with the countrymen and days are not far when his promise of making J&K the best place in the country will be fulfilled.
