| CM given rousing welcome at Secretariat | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, JANUARY 09 – A rousing reception was given to Mr. Omar Abdullah, when he arrived at the Civil Secretariat here for the first time after assuming charge of the Chief Minister of the State.
Abdullah was received by the Deputy Chief Minister, Ministers, Chief Secretary, DGP, senior officers and the employees and was also presented a Guard of Honour by a contingent of J&K Police.
The Civil Secretariat (Non-Gazetted) Employees Union, headed by its President, Mr. Nazir Ahmad Mir and Lower Grade Civil Secretariat Employees Union, received the Chief Minister on reaching the Civil Secretariat.
The Chief Minister had a round of various offices in the Civil Secretariat and interacted with the officers and staff.
Later, the Chief Minister also visited the chambers of some ministers, Principal Secretary to Chief Minister and various sections of the CM's Secretariat.
