| One way traffic on NH for second day | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Jan 9: One-way traffic was allowed for the second day on the 300-kilometer Srinagar-Jammu highway after it was thrown open following two-day closure due to heavy snowfall. They said that traffic from Srinagar was allowed to move for Jammu while all no vehicle was allowed from the opposite direction. The highway, only road link connecting valley to the rest world, remained closed for entire day Wednesday and better-half of Tuesday due to heavy snowfall at Patnitop and Jawahar tunnel. Official sources said that the BRO-men, officials said, where on the job to make the highway traffic worthy for two way traffic, it was unlikely that it could be resumed today. Meanwhile weather remained pleasant for the second day to the delight of people even if there was no respite from the intense cold during night and morning. (
