Jammu, January 09 – Pro-tem Speaker, Chowdhary Mohammad Aslam has accepted the resignation of Dr. Farooq Abdullah, an elected Member of Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly from 18- Hazratbal constituency with effect from January 7, 2009 and has also declared the seat vacant.
