JAMMU JAN, 10:
J.K Montessorie Sen School (JKMS) celebrated Lohri festival in association with BIG 92.7FM in school premises here today. Students were dressed in colorful traditional dresses with Chajjas in their hands.
BIG 92.7FM celebrate the festival with leading schools and had competition among them by making Bambora and Jingle and plans to have interschool competition with different schools of the city.
Anshu Sharma of class 11th bag first prize in Bambora Competition, while Rajhan and Rashi also of class 11th shared first prize in Jingle competition.
These type of competition are regularly held at JKMS to understand the students of our culture and traditions. Students were also enlightened about the importance of the festival by the co-ordinator Mrs. Vandana Gupta on the occasion.
