DC launches e-SUTTRA Portal

RAJOURI, Apr 6: Deputy Commissioner, Vikas Kundal launched the e-SUTTRA portal to streamline the annual 'Dera' movements and permission for animal purchases. The digital platform will enable applicants to apply online for Dera movement and animal purchases, ensuring a smooth and hassle-free permission process.
The e-SUTTRA portal has inbuilt tracking facilities for online applications, ensuring time-bound disposal and eliminating any inconvenience for applicants. The portal will help the district administration take another step towards digitisation, bringing transparency and efficiency to the permission process.
At the launch, Deputy Commissioner Kundal emphasised the importance of digital platforms in making administrative processes more accessible and efficient. He expressed hope that the e-SUTTRA portal would enable applicants to get necessary permissions smoothly. The portal is part of the government's efforts to implement digital governance practices.
Deputy Commissioner urged the public to use the portal to simplify their application processes and provide feedback for further improvement.
The launch event was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Rajeev Kumar Khajuria; Chief Planning Officer, Mohammad Khurshid; Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Imran Rashid Kataria; Superintending Engineer Hydraulics, Bhram Jyoti Sharma, District Informatics Officer, Muzaffar Mir and other concerned officers.
