Ambedkar-Phule Rally in Jammu before their Jayanti’s

Jammu, Apr 9: On 9th of April 2023 An impressive Ambedkar_Phule Rally was Organised in Jammu by the Bharat Rattan Baba Sahib Dr. BR Ambedkar Birthday Celebration committee, J&K before their Birthday Anniversary from Satwari Chowk Jammu to Ambedkar Chowk before the Jayant is of Mahatma Jyoti Rao Phule ji and Baba Sahib Abedkar which are being celebrated on 11th and 14th of April respectively of every year. The Rally passed different parts of Jammu City, a large number of people from all the Tehsils of Jammu District, Samba, Kathua, Udhampur Rajouri Districts and all the religious, social organizations, school children etc. participated with motorcycle, cars etc and no. of Jankies were displayed in the rallies which were the Centre of attraction of the rally. This rally was welcomed at different parts of Jammu by the serving drinking water, cold drinks, fruits and other eatables and the Rally was chanting slogans on baba Sahib Ambedkar and Mahatma Phule and on their life. While addressing the media persons the members of the celebration committee put light on the teaching of the Ambedkar Phule and tried to give the message of equality, liberty and fraternity and appealed the people to Read the Phule ji and Babasahib to better understand their message to the society.
Further it was said that Baba Saheb Dr. Ambedkar and Mahatma Jyotirao Phule were two prominent social reformers in India who dedicated their lives to fighting against social discrimination and oppression. Baba Saheb Ambedkar, also known as Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, was a jurist, economist, politician, and social reformer who is considered the architect of the Indian Constitution. He was born into a family of the Dalit community, which was considered the lowest caste in the Hindu social hierarchy. Throughout his life, Ambedkar fought against caste discrimination and worked towards the upliftment of Dalits, women, labour and other marginalized communities. Dr. Ambedkar was also a prominent leader in the Indian independence movement and was the first Law Minister of independent India. He was Chairman of the drafting Committee of the Indian Constitution, which guaranteed equal rights and opportunities to all citizens regardless of their caste, religion, or gender. Mahatma Jyotirao Phule, on the other hand, was a social reformer, thinker, and writer who is known for his contribution towards the upliftment of the Dalit and other marginalized communities in Maharashtra. He was a firm believer in the equality of all human beings and fought against the oppressive caste system that prevailed in society. Phule is also known for his efforts towards women's education and empowerment. He established the first school for girls in India and worked towards breaking down the barriers that prevented women from accessing education and participating in public life. Together, Baba Saheb Ambedkar and Mahatma Jyotirao Phule played a significant role in shaping modern India and their contributions towards social justice and equality continue to inspire people to this day. The Celebration committee served Lunch to the members of the Rally at Ambedkar Chowk and Appealed and extended invitations to the People of the J&K and other parts of the country to also attend main function of Celebration of Ambedkar Jayanti Mela on 14th of April in Ambedkar chowk, Jammu where missionary singers of the J&K UT and Gurpreet Lali will through light on the life of the Babasahib through their songs.
