Early Times Report Udhampur, Jan 10- The Corps of Army Air Defence, the youngest arm of the Indian Army, raised in 1994 after separating from the Artillery, celebrated its sixteenth Raising Day today. The celebrations commenced with Air Defence Commander, Brig AK Jha paying homage to the martyrs at the Dhruva War Memorial, here. The Corps of Air Defence, apart from its primary duty of protecting vital assets from the air, has contributed immensely towards bringing peace to the state of J&K and winning the hearts and minds of people through Operation Sadhbhawna. The GOC-in-C Northern Command, Lt Gen PC Bhardwaj, greeted all ranks of the Corps on the occasion and exhorted them to uphold the Corps motto of `AAKASHE – SHATRUN-JAHI’
