| Charak directs digging work on polytechnic bore well | | | JAMMU, SEPTEMBER 17 - The digging work on 6th bore well commenced at identified site of Women Polytechnic near A.G. Office Shakti Nagar Jammu on the directions of with Minister for R&B Mr. Gulchain Singh Charak.
The bore well is expected to be completed within 10 days span, said the R&B engineers, adding that it would prove beneficial in solving the water needs of the people of the area.
The Minister said that work on other bore wells too is being initiated with testing of ground water limits by concerned agencies.
Mr. Charak expressed profound gratitude to the Chief Minister Mr. Ghulam Nabi Azad for sanctioning 10 bore wells in wake of damage to the Sitlee Filtration Plant.
Among others, Chief Engineer R&B Mr. M.M. Sharma, Chief Engineer PHE Mr. V.K. Goswami and Chief Engineer Flood Control Mr. V.K. Abrol were present on the occasion. |
