| Unique International Public School, celebrates Baisakhi with full fervour | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Apr 15: A function was organized at the morning assembly to celebrate the occasion. Function was started with warm welcome of our Chairman S. Jasbir Singh, Managing Director Nirlep Kour and Principal Dr. Shuchita Gupta. The student presented various cultural items on occasion.
Our Principal Dr. Shuchita Gupta mentioned it as a great unification for the society. She said that we celebrate each and every festival in order to inculcate values amongst students.
School Chairman Sr. Jasbir Singh said such days were important as it creates awareness among the students regarding its importance. He also threw light on the religious and historical importance of the festival.
At last all the children were served with Halwa.
Overall it was a wonderful event. |
