| Sham addresses public meeting at Chowkichoura | | | Early Times Report Jammu January 11- Minister for Health, Horticulture and Floriculture, Mr. Sham Lal Sharma today inspected ongoing cross-drainage project at Khuga-Mera Mandrian road Akhnoor. He was informed that the total cost of the project would be Rs 4.39 crore and till date Rs 2.59 crore have been spent and would be completed in March this year. On this occasion, while giving details of other projects under execution, Mr. Sharma said that three more cross drainage projects are under construction in the same area and with their completion, obstructions being created by rainy water would be removed. Earlier, Minister while addressing a public meeting at Chowki Choura said that government is determined to solve unemployment crisis by creating employment avenues for youth of the state. He said that other significant steps which need to be addressed are illiteracy and basic health facility to people living in far-flung and remote areas. He said that all vital issues shall be addressed in a phased manner.
Referring to functioning of government officials in Akhnoor constituency in particular, Minister expressed satisfaction over their working, however, he said that in future more efforts need to be put in to solve people, problems.
