| SDRF organizes demonstration on Disaster Management | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Apr 20: An awareness cum demonstration on Disaster Management has been conducted by SDRF 2nd Bn. Jammu at Govt.College of Education Canal Road Jammu under the supervision Atul Sharma, SSP Commandant SDRF 2nd Bn. Jammu.
Aekta Gupta, Principal Govt. College of Education alongwith Prof. Anju Bala (DSW) inaugurated the programme and highlighted the role of Disaster Management and need of their techniques.
Arvinder Kotwal, Dy.SP SDRF 2nd Bn. Jammu, and Sunil Sharma, Inspector were the overall incharge of the Mock Drill Exercise/demonstration who also briefed the students on the occasion. During the programme, various demonstrations on following topics of Disaster management were conducted by the SDRF instructors among the students and staff members:-
First Aid, CPR, Medical First Responder
Earthquake
Mountaineering Rescue Techniques (MRTs)
Various Rescue operation Techniques
A successful mock exercise/demonstration on Disaster Management as well as Rescue Techniques have been conducted by the SDRF team in order to aware the students to meet any eventuality during disaster. |
