| Open Gym inaugurated at MV International School | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Apr 20: Mental health and well being are the core fundamentals of curriculum at MV International School. The school launched yet another unique feature - an open gym for students, staff & parents in the school premises today. Renowned mountaineer and motivational speaker Col. Ranveer Singh Jamwal, SM, VSM** inaugurated the Gym in presence Hira Lal Abrol Chairman, Principal KL Dogra, staff and students. Speaking on the occasion Col. Jamwal lauded the school management for this unique initiative and congratulated the students and staff for being fortunate enough to study in this school, that has a futuristic approach to education. Open gym is intended to help the students to improve their physical well-being and enhance scope for learning, the students can utilise their spare time in physical exercises, during the day long schooling in the institute, he added. Chairman Hira Lal Abrol, while interacting with the students and the staff, emphasised that they should concord in achieving the highest place in every field, be it any profession or any kind of sport.
Jamwal also gave motivational talk on 'Careers & Life' was given by Col. Ranveer Singh Jamwal, SM, VSM** to the students from classes 10th, 11th & 12th. He emphasised on the importance of dedication, determination and motivation to reach the goals of success in life. Main objective was to interact with the students to unlock their hidden potential and identify their inner core strengths. He also unveiled insights for chasing one's dreams without any fear of judgment. His words created a positive impression on the minds of each and every individual present in the session. Vote of thanks was presented by Cultural Coordinator Navneet Kour, she appreciated his ideas and elegance of explanation. |
