BJP stages protest to condemn killing of Army soldiers

JAMMU, Apr 21: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Jammu District South unit under the leadership of Rekha Mahajan on Friday held a massive protest at Satwari Chowk in Jammu South, against the killing of an Indian Army soldiers in a terrorist attack in Jammu and Kashmir's Poonch district.
DDC Prof.Garu Ram Bhagat, Former MLC Vikram Randhawa, District General Secretaries Akash Chopra and Pushpinder Singh, Mandal Presidents Neeraj Puri, Ranjit Singh, Bharat Bhushan, Bikram Sandhu, and Activists of BJP Jammu District South held anti-Pakistan protests over the death of five army personnel and burnt an effigy of Pakistan for aiding and abetting terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir.
BJP leader Rekha Mahajan strongly condemned the terror attack on the army vehicle carrying the soldiers and condoled their death saying "We are united against terrorism". Over the death of five army soldiers in a terrorist attack in Jammu and Kashmir's Poonch district. While addressing the media Rekha strongly condemned and deep anguish expressed shock over the death of the soldiers and called for the strongest punishment for those "behind this cowardly attack."
Garu Ram Bhagat said the terrorists behind the killing of five soldiers would soon be hunted down and neutralized. India will respond in a language that Pakistan understands well. Every single terrorist who somehow had entered Indian soil will be eliminated sooner than later as the security forces are already on the job, he said while protesting against the killing of Army Jawans at Satwari Chowk along with BJP workers.
Vikram Randhawa said the proxy war that Pakistan has been waging in Kashmir will ruin that country because India will not tolerate any misadventure and will give a befitting reply to every act of mischief. He said Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given free hand to the army to tackle the issue independently and therefore it is a matter of time before those responsible for this ambush are brought to justice.
The BJP Jammu District South led by its President Rekha Mahajan also paid tribute to the soldiers for their sacrifice. '' Indian Army salutes the sacrifice of Hav Mandeep Singh, L/Nk Debashish Baswal, L/Nk Kulwant Singh, Sep Harkrishan Singh, Sep Sewak Singh, who laid down their lives in the line of duty in Poonch Sector on 20 Apr 23. We stand in solidarity with the bereaved families, '' said Rekha Mahajan.
