4/24/2023 10:03:17 PM
Early Times Report
JAMMU, Apr 24: Chief Spokesperson BJP Mahila Morcha J&KUT Ritika Trehan today said that the BJP and Central Government headed by the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi stand fully committed for the development of Jammu and Kashmir. The unprecedented overall development of J&K witnessed today is the result of this sincere commitment of the BJP led government at the Centre for the progress and prosperity of this sensitive Union Territory and its people, she added.
Reacting over unnecessary criticism by opposition political parties particularly Congress of BJP Govt , Ritika said that performance of her party and its Government on ground especially in terms of development speaks for itself. She said that earlier there was only family politics but now the BJP government has reached to the common people and has been functioning actively for the welfare of people. Successive Govts discriminated against Jammu and Kashmir for years and they are doing the same even now. "The people have already shown the opposition their place.
Ritika further said that all round and unhindered development of J&K is BJP government's top priority and to accomplish this goal, PM Narendra Modi has opened all the floodgates of funds so that no sector remains untouched from this initiative. She said that J&K has been witnessing unprecedented development since the PM Modi led government has come to power and the works which were pending since decades have been accomplished with great ease.
Ritika said that PM has given standing instructions for ensuring all round development of the UT of J&K and that is the reason the areas which were discriminated earlier by the successive governments have now came to limelight through colossal development as roads, lanes, drains and other civic infra has been revamped in a fair manner with not prejudice on rural or urban pockets.
Ritika said the mission of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi is to usher in an era of peace, progress and prosperity in J&K and for this BJP is taking every possible step. She said changes on ground are already becoming visible as people of the UT are experiencing the development as never before. She said that every issue of the people is given due care and is sorted out at the highest level.
Ritika said the fact that J&K has always been high on the BJP's priority list can best be amplified by a number of schemes and projects undertaken during the past few years in a mission mode with the only objective of making the people part of the country's development odyssey. This is the philosophy behind 'Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas,' she said, adding that the era of despondency, discrimination and exploitation is over.Ritika claimed that BJP Govt is committed to serve the people, meet the challenges faced in Jammu and Kashmir and make it a part of the country's growth story.
