| IMPA tutors lessons on organizational change | | | Early Times Report Jammu, January 12- Director General, J&K IMPA, Mr. Pramod Jain has stressed upon officers of various organizations to map organizational changes and use them to gear up for providing better services to the people. "Maintaining transparency and accountability at the organizational level and developing agility, continuity and efficiency at the individual level are imperative for betterment of the organizations to develop accountability and transparency". Mr. Jain said while was speaking at the inaugural session of a 3-day training programme on "Managing Organizational Change: issues, challenges and strategies in 21st century". He said the training was aimed at upgrading the knowledge, skills and attitudes of the participants in tune with the organizational objectives and the changing expectations. On the occasion, the Course Coordinator, Prof. Indu Aima highlighted the objectives and contents of the programe which is being attended by 24 officers from various government departments e.g. Social Welfare, Sheep Husbandry, Animal Husbandry, Irrigation and Flood Control, Industries and Education. She thanked Director General IMPA for his guidance and counsel to make training programmes meaningful and participative enabling organizations to evolve an enriched decision making process for better governance. Ms. Sheela Bhagat, Joint Director was also present on this occasion.
