EPFO to hold Nidhi Aapke Nikat programme at district level

JAMMU, Apr 26: EPFO Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh, will be holding Nidhi Aapke Nikat 2.0, an awareness and outreach program at DC Office, Kupwara; Dak Bungalow, Poonch; BBIA, Bari Brahmana, Samba; Jagdish Resort, Samba and District Industrial Centre, Leh on 27th April 2023, simultaneously. Employers and employees of aforementioned areas would be sensitized about provisions of social security, besides covering themes of EDLI - eligibility, benefits and claims, Keeping track of passbook accounts, Importance of E-nomination, Know Your UAN, UAN Activation, & member profile - KYC, and UAN related issues. The aim of the program is to ensure broad based participation, awareness, grievance redressal and information exchange network closer to the stakeholders of EPFO.
The P. F. Commissioner, Shri Rizwan Uddin informed that subscribers, pensioners, establishments, employees' representatives and industrial chambers are advised to actively participate in Nidhi AapkeNikat Program. The programme at Kupwara would be addressed by Shri Rizwan Uddin, RPFC - I, alongside Shri N. Gopalakrishnan, RPFC - I (Audit, HQ) who will be visiting as central Observer. The venue of the program will be as following:
Kupwara 27.04.2023 (One hour duration from 10:30AM onwards) DC Office, Kupwara, Poonch 27.04.2023 (One hour duration from 10:30AM onwards) Dak Bungalow, Poonch, Samba 27.04.2023 (One hour duration from 10:00 AM onwards) BBIA, Bari Brahmana, Samba 27.04.2023 (One hour duration from 10.00 AM onwards) Jagdish Resort, Samba, Leh 27.04.2023 (One hour duration from 10:00 AM onwards) District Industrial Centre, Leh.
On their way to Kupwara, PF Commissioners also interacted with the workers deployed by various firms such as Chowdhary Power Projects Pvt Ltd and enquired about PF benefits being received by them and said that the workers and labourers such as these being engaged by different contractors would benefit immensely by extension of PF coverage in the UTs of J&K and Ladakh.
EPFO, Jammu takes this opportunity to provide handholding support to the stakeholders at the respectivevenues, besides hearing them (their suggestions, inputs and grievances). Issues and problems faced by the Organizations in implementing the EPF & MP Act. 1952 will be heard and necessary actions would be taken accordingly. Enrollment of the members, UAN Activation, Bank & Aadhaar Seeding, online claim filing, filing of e-nominations, e-sign, filing ECR would be covered in the program. In addition to above any other relevant issue related to EPFO, which officers or stakeholders desire, would be discussed.
Services and benefits of "Social Security"-Employees' Pension Scheme, 1995 and enhanced quantum (up to Rupees Seven Lakhs) of Employees' Deposit Linked Insurance Schemes, 1976 are being rendered to employees of Union territory of Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh with effect from November 2019 onwards. EPFO, Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh is open to every valuable suggestion at the Nidhi Aapke Nikat.
