The Forum in its meeting held here today under chairmanship of its Chairperson Prof Indra Rathore, the members expressed their anguish about the developments on account of the truncated session partly because of the loss of precious time and partly on account of late declaration of results. The members unanimously resolved that students be advised to continue academic session and cover up maximum syllabus. Meanwhile efforts made to hear the genuine grievances of the students and find an amicable solution to their problems. The members strongly felt that in the present competitive times dilution of courses is neither in the larger interests of the students nor for the maintenance of high academic standards. University exams and the results should be properly scheduled on time so that students can compete in national professional courses. For this, services of retired teachers can be taken for speedy evaluation of answer scripts, the Forum observed. Prof Sarla Kohli, Prof chanchal Sharma, Prof Parveen Sabharwal, Prof Nerrinder Singh and Prof HK.Kapoor (Retired principals and college teachers) attended the meeting.
