NIA Court issues warrants against 23 terrorists operating from PoK, Pak

JAMMU, Apr 26: The Jammu based National Investigation Agency (NIA) Special Court upon the request of police on Wednesday issued non bailable warrants against 23 terrorists from district Kishtwar but settled and operating from Pakistan and Pakistan-occupued-Kashmir (PoK).
SSP Kishtwar Khalil Poswal said that Chief Investigation Officer, DySP PC Vishal Sharma of Kishtwar Police approached the Special NIA Court for issuing Non-Bailable Warrants against the accused for their active involvement in terror activities for creating unrest in the erstwhile Doda district and other parts of Jammu and Kashmir.
They mobilised sleeper cells and pushed them into J&K in connivance with secessionist and separatist leaders for waging war against the Government of India with nefarious design of seceding Jammu and Kashmir from Union of India.
Further investigation into the case is underway.
The terrorists against whom warrants issued are Manzoor Ahmed alias Tahir Inqalabi, resident of Dwalher Singpura, Manzoor Ahmed, resident of Zalla Chatroo, Ghulam Mohd. Guijar of Titwan Gurinal Tehsil Chatroo, Nazir Ahmed alias Shaheen of Bag Pura Tehsil Chatroo, Shabir Ahmed alias Junaid of Seva Chatroo, Mohd. lgbal Rishi alias Muzamil Ansari, Deller Chatroo, Mohd. Amin Bhat of Naryan Chingam, Jamal
Din Naik alias Mudasir of Sewa Chatroo, Ghulam Hussain Sheikh of Sheikpoura Kuchal, Bashir Ahmed Raina alias Showkat of Raina Mohale Kuchaal, Guzar Ahmed alias Jovid of Rather Mohalla Kuchaal, Shabair Ahmed of Beighpura Singpura, Imtiyaz Ahmed alias Tahiq Sadique Pehlagam Sigdi, Bashir Ahmed of Pehalgam Sigdi, Mohd Shafi alias Amjad of Sherri, Gh. Nabi Wani alias Majid of Sherri Sigdi, Abdul Kareem alias Ismail of Kwath Mughal Maidan, Gulabu of Rahalthal, Mughal Maidan, Farooq Ahmed Ganie of Kellar Marwah, Mohd. Haneef Sheikh of Saterwagan Marwah,Mushtaq Ahmed alias Harrara of Sunder Dachhan, Mohd. Ifran Khanday of Lower Tander Dachhan, Mohd. Rafiq Khanday alias Khalid of Kursa Sunder Dachhan, presently residing in PoK, Pakistan.
The non-bailable warrants have been issued under relevant sections and investigation has been taken up.
