| Rao for equitable development of all the regions | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Jan 12- Expressing the hope that the coalition government would ensure equitable development in all the three regions of the state, Tehsil Thathri Development Front President, Kuldeep Kumar Rao has urged the NC-Congress coalition to ensure that there is no further discrimination with Jammu region which has been ignored for the last 61 years. In a statement issued here today Rao demanded constitution of Delimitation Commission in the state, besides tackling the growing unemployment problem. He said the Delimitation of assemblies has become inevitable as the Jammu has less seats compared to the valley in spite of the fact that Jammu has more population and the area. He also reiterated the demand regarding bifurcation of Inderwal Constituency. Inderwal is the largest constituency in the state so far as area is concerned but it is the least developed one in respect of roads, water, and electric supply. Nearly 80% population is without this facility. He demanded that whole of Tehsil Thathri be made a separate Assembly Constituency by removing Chatroo and other villages of Tehsil Kishtwar from Inderwal constituency and the area of Chiralla and Joura-Halaran of Tehsil Thathri be added with Inderwal constituency from Bhadarwah constituency and the constituency be renamed as Thathri Constituency.
