| Bodhi demands immediate release of Bharti | | | Early Times Report
Jammu Jan 12- Bharat Bhushan (Bodhi) BJP MLA has demanded immediate release of Saint Dinesh Bharti and withdrawal of Public Safety Act against him.
In a press statement issued here today Bharat Bhushan has said that Swami Dinesh Bharti is a highly revered spiritual leader of Hindus. There is strong resentment among his devotees over continuous promulgation of PSA against him. In the agreement reached between Shri Amarnath Yatra Sangarsh Samiti and the government, before the withdrawal of Jammu agitation spearheaded by SAYSS, the government had given the firm commitment to withdraw PSA against Swami Dinesh Bharti. But even after lapse of over four months, the PSA has not been withdrawn against Bharti, which is causing anguish among the people at large. Continuation of PSA against a highly revered Hindu saint only betrays government's anti Hindu policy, the statement added.
