Kavinder meets Nivedita, apprises developmental profile under BJP Govt

JAMMU, Apr 27: Kavinder Gupta, senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and former Deputy Chief Minister met Nivedita Nathoo, Vice President of Overseas Friends of Bharatiya Janata Party from Mauritius here today.
It is pertinent to mention here that Nivedita visited Jammu after paying obeisance at the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Cave Shrine at Katra. The main purpose of the Mauritian leader to India is to participate in the Jal Abhishek of Lord Shri Ram Ji at Ayodhya for which she has brought water of Ganga Talao from Mauritius.
During the meeting, the former Dy Chief Minister apprised Nivedita Nathoo about the unprecedented development in Jammu and Kashmir after BJP's coming into power at the Centre. He also informed Nivedita about BJP making inroads into Kashmir and people across J&K on the whole quite satisfied with the delivery of good governance by the Union Govt as well as the Union Territory Administration.
The significant role of women in the party affairs also came under discussion during the meeting and both the leaders agreed that women can play a significant role in further strengthening this largest political party of the world. During the meeting, Nivedita also interacted telephonically with BJP Mahila Morcha President Sanjita Dogra and lauded the commendable work of her Mahila Morcha team in making BJP popular in every nook and corner of Jammu and Kashmir. She invited Sanjita Dogra to Mauritius for conducting a programme on the achievements of world's largest democracy during the tenure of the BJP Govt that has made India the most significant global player today.
Meanwhile, Nivedita Nathoo told Kavinder Gupta that she is highly impressed by the ongoing beautification of Jammu with neat and clean National Highways, International Standard Tunnels, IIT and many more. She said that she could get the real feel of unprecedented development in India on the whole and J&K in particular. She said that restoring peace and transforming developmental profile of Jammu and Kashmir has been possible due to the relentless and dedicated efforts of India's Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
