JAMMU, Apr 29: Congratulating Prime Minister Narendra Modi on completion of 100 episodes of Mann ki Baat on Radio, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) J&K Executive Member Raman Suri said that the inclusion of Ramnagar Palace located in Udhampur of Jammu region amongst the 13 iconic locations in India for projection mapping is a momentous decision taken by the Ministry of Culture. This will bring Jammu on the international tourism map.
He said that the projection of historical and architectural importance of the region on Ramnagar Palace and that too in Dogri language will add to the significance of the palace and increase footfall of visitors in Jammu region. Jammu, he said, had always been craving for such opportunities and falling in the list of 13 iconic monuments to be used for projection mapping is a big achievement, which has elated the people.
The move will highlight the diversity of India on the lines of diverse topics and themes addressed by the Prime Minister in his show Mann Ki Baat from time to time. Jammu's Palace, being amongst the 13 iconic monuments including Gwalior Fort, Konark Sun Temple, Golconda Fort, Vellore Fort, Gateway of India, Nav Ratangarh Fort, Residency Building, Modhera Sun Temple, Rang Ghar, Chittorgarh Fort and Pradhanmantri Sangrahalaya spread across India, is indeed a matter of pride for the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
Raman Suri said that commencing on 29th April 2023, the Ramnagar Palace will also witness history being showcased on its walls and facade. Mann Ki Baat, he added, is a unique initiative of Prime Minister whose 100th episode will be aired on All India Radio on 30th April 2023. Narendra Modi, he said, has been touching the minutest of details about India's progress and contribution of its people in this programme in which Jammu and Kashmir has found reference multiple times.
Raman Suri said that Mann Ki Baat had always been inspiring individuals for their initiatives to transform lives of many others and for encouraging self-employment. This has inspired many others to do their best in making a strong India. He hoped that the people of Ramnagar, tourists and others from Jammu will throng the Palace on the occasion to see this historic event.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi's address to the nation through Mann Ki Baat is broadcasted in 22 Indian languages, 29 dialects and 11 international languages through multiple platforms and initially began on 3rd October 2014 on All India Radio. Raman Suri also congratulated the Union Minister in PMO and MP from Udhampur Dr Jitendra Singh for inclusion of Ramnagar Palace in such a great national event.
