Director Finance, visits GDC Hiranagar

HIRANAGAR, Apr 29: The Director Finance, Higher Education Department, Jammu and Kashmir Mr. Abdul Majeed Butt along with other officers and subordinate staff visited Girdhari Lal Dogra Memorial Govt. Degree College Hiranagar. The objective of the visit was to take stock of the building constructed under languishing projects and inauguration of the recently furnished conference hall.
He was received by the Principal of the College Dr. Pragya Khanna and the senior faculty members. The Principal of the college welcomed the Director and accompanying staff and also gave a detailed report of the college. The Principal also presented before the authorities the future developmental plans in accordance with the vision and mission of the college.
The principal thanked the Director Finance for his visit and assured him that the college administration would leave no stone unturned for the judicious and efficacious utilization of the allotted funds so that the College will continue to strive for betterment and improvement in every field.
The Director also interacted with the faculty members and the members of the establishment during the visit. The half-yearly issue of the College Newsletter 'Pratibhimb' was also released by him in the presence of the Principal and other staff members. Afterwards he along with his team accompanied by the Principal and the senior faculty took a round of the college campus, visited smart classrooms, ICT Lab, Science Laboratories and interacted with the staff of all departments.
The directorlauded the efforts and contribution of the Principal and staff and articulated his deep sense of satisfaction over the overall infrastructural development of college and also for the mesmerizing green cover of the campus.A charter of demands was also put before the worthy Director Finance for the needs and requirements of the future course of development.At the end of the visit, Principal of the college Dr. Pragya Khanna thanked the visiting team for paying their gracious visit to the college and for solving various problems faced by the college.
