DDC inaugurates 4-day Training of Trainers program

RAJOURI, May 1: District Development Commissioner of Rajouri, Vikas Kundal, inaugurated a four-day Training of Trainers (ToT) program for master trainers on the management of all components of Swachh Bharat Mission (Gramin) Phase-II.
The program aims to enhance the skills and knowledge of the master trainers to effectively implement the SBM program in the district.
During the event, DDC, Vikas Kundal emphasized the significance of training in the job and stated that the Swachh Bharat Mission 2.0 is a flagship program of the Government, and every effort should be made to achieve the targets. He also highlighted the achievements of the district in the implementation of Swachh Bharat Mission.
The DDC, Vikas Kundal advised the participants to make cleanliness a habit and stressed on creating awareness among the public. He also encouraged the participants to actively participate in the program and disseminate the knowledge gained during the ToT to other trainers and stakeholders in the district.
The Swachh Bharat Mission (Gramin) Phase-II aims to ensure that every rural household has access to a toilet, and the practice of open defecation is eradicated. The program also includes solid and liquid waste management, and the focus is on behavior change to sustain the cleanliness practices in the long run.
The Training of Trainers program is an essential step towards achieving the objectives of the Swachh Bharat Mission (Gramin) Phase-II. It will equip the master trainers with the necessary knowledge and skills to effectively implement the program and drive behavior change in the district.
DDC, Vikas Kundal urged the participants to take the training seriously and work towards achieving the goals of the Swachh Bharat Mission. He also thanked the trainers and stakeholders for their efforts in making Rajouri a cleaner and healthier district.
