| Pandey reviews progress on sewerage project | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, JANUARY 13 -Divisional Commissioner, Jammu, Mr Sudhanshu Pandey convened a high level meeting with the officials of NBCC and other departments to review the ongoing construction work on sewerage system in Jammu city.
Interacting with the officials, Mr Pandey deliberated upon the technicalities of the project undertaken by NBCC and asked them to expedite their construction work and complete the ongoing work within scheduled time. He stressed on the need for close coordination between the chief executing agency and other departments to ensure that the laying of sewerage pipes and further restoration of the roads on which the work is taken up is done in a speedy manner so that general public does not face inconvenience.
Mr. Pandey asked the executing agencies to be more responsive to the needs of the people and ensure that the roads are restored for plying of traffic.
Among others present in the meeting were Additional District Development Commissioner, Jammu, senior officers from PHE, PDD, PWD, JMC, R&B, HUD and BSNL.
