| DFCO inspects 372 drug centres, suspends 15 | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, JANUARY 13-As a part of its special drives to ensure effective implementation of Drugs and Cosmetics Act, the Drug and Food Control Organization has suspended 15 establishments, besides sealing 5 medical shops in Jammu and Kashmir divisions for violating the Act.
Various teams of the department inspected 372 drugs sale centres and blood banks and asked them to strictly adhere to the prescribed norms of the Act.
Meanwhile, 102 drug samples were sent to the Testing Laboratories for analysis of quality of the same. The teams also served show cause notice to 30 establishments found violating the Act.
