DC holds introductory meeting with members of Municipal Council Udhampur 5/2/2023 10:36:43 PM Early Times Report UDHAMPUR, May 2: Deputy Commissioner Udhampur, Sachin Kumar Vaishya today convened an introductory meeting with Members of Municipal Council Udhampur here in the Mini Conference Hall of DC Office Complex. The Deputy Commissioner welcomed all the members of Udhampur Municipal Council and discussed in detail a range of issues related to developmental requirements and other issues of Udhampur Township. While interacting with the Councillors, the DC sought their cooperation in generating awareness among the masses regarding cleanliness. He elaborated the aims and objectives of the sanitation and appealed to the general public to lay maximum emphasis on cleanliness and extension of green cover of the district through active participation of the general public. He added that the effective implementation of all developmental schemes is not possible without the active participation of PRIs, civil society and general public During the interaction, Members of the Municipal Council put forth numerous issues and demands like identification of parking zones, maintenance of roads and streets etc. The DC assured the Council members that genuine demands will be redress on priority basis.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
