Farooq should come out of discriminatory mindset: Kavinder
Nationalist BJP never divides India into pieces, separate regions
5/2/2023 10:56:04 PM
Early Times Report

JAMMU, May 2: For the nationalist BJP, India is one from KanyaKumari to Kashmir as it never believed in dividing the country on different basis. Senior BJP leader and former deputy chief minister said this in an acerbic rejoinder to NC Patron Dr Farooq Abdullah after he questioned why Jammu region was not considered as a venue for G20 meetings.
In the meeting held here today, Kavinder said that BJP is not a narrow minded party and thinks beyond boundaries. He said that it was Farooq’s NC which used to create wedges among the people on the basis of regions, religions and other distinctions but BJP considers every part of the country to be India integral part and that is why for BJP Government it is immaterial whether the G20 meetings are being held in Jammu, Srinagar or in Leh. He said that Farooq’s statement is the part of a ploy to again divide the society on a regional basis but the BJP Government led by PM Narendra Modi wouldn’t allow this to happen.
He said that the well wisher of Jammu—Dr Farooq was instrumental in discriminating with this region for over 70 years but now when he has become irrelevant in politics, he is using Jammu card to attain public attention but the same is impossible because people today aware of these old tactics and knows every move of NC leadership. “When in power, the NC leadership never comes out of cocoon of Kashmir based politics but now it is shedding tears in the name of Jammu region which is nothing but sheer political drama”, he said adding that Modi government has been doing justice with all, whether Jammu, Kashmir or Ladakh, and the record number of tourists in the Valley this year is the testimony of this fact. He said that BJP has a mass base of 5 lakh members in Jammu and soon the same base will be established in Kashmir province also, therefore the conspiracy of NC to debase BJP in Jammu won’t work and any attempt in this direction is pointless.
