After lull, NC-PC wash dirty linen public again
5/2/2023 10:57:19 PM

Early Times Report

Jammu, May 2: After a few months of the lull, the National Conference and the Peoples Conference have started “washing dirty linen in public” after the PC President and former Minister Sajad Lone claimed that NC would form next government with the Bharatiya Janta Party(BJP).
In an interview to a national media house, Lone said the NC and BJP are “confabulating” with each other for “at least a year”. As an alleged proof, Lone said that ‘although Omar Abdullah joined Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra in Srinagar none of the Abdullahs nor the National Conference party issued any statement in support of Rahul Gandhi when he was disqualified as an MP.”
He also claimed that Farooq Abdullah attended a meeting called by the government, which all other opposition parties did not attend.
The NC has reacted sharply to Lone’s statement. “Can you read English @sajadlone? This was our response to Mr. Rahul Gandhi's disqualification,” the NC spokesperson Imran Nabi Dar said on the social media while sharing his party’s reaction to the Rahul Gandhi disqualification.
PC leader Mudasir Karim reacted to Dar saying “He was not talking about you or your party. He was talking about Omar sahib and Dr Farooq sahib. Thodi Bahut English Aati hai Sajad Sahib ki. Ab Aap jitni toh nahi Aati!!”
Another PC activist added “Lol U gonna teach us English. Sajad Sb is an articulate speaker and a well read Leader. And Yeah he is a Pure Kashmiri and not a Hybrid.”
One NC activist reacted: “@sajadlone can’t read English He is additional spokesperson of @BJP4India.”
A PC activist reacted to the post: “Ab tu Chauthi Fail humein English sikhaayega, Sajad lone ne tum logu ki tight karke rakhi hai, I understand that well.”
A NC activist reacted saying “former separatist Sajd Lone is BJP’s spent hen who is full of baggage and thus cries hoarse.”
Before the abrogation of the so-called special status of Jammu and Kashmir, Sajad Lone was known for making fiery statements against the Abdullahs. The two parties however had gone for a “ceasefire during the honeymoon days” of the so called Peoples Alliance for Gupkar Declaration or PAGD.
But after Sajad separated from PAGD he again resumed targeting Abdullahs.
