| PDP leaders express concern over shortage of essentials in Kandi areas | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Jan.13- Senior PDP leaders Sardar Rafiq Hussain Khan, Chowdhary Zulfikar Ali and Sayed Asgar Ali expressing their concern over shortage of essentials and scarcity of electricity and potable water in remote areas of Poonch, Rajouri and erstwhile Doda districts have urged upon the government to ensure sufficient stock and supply of eatables in these remote areas.
In a joint statement issued here today PDP leaders said that most of the Kandi areas in frontier districts of Poonch and Rajouri and hilly areas of Kishtwar, Ramban and Doda districts face acute shortage of essentials and electricity making life difficult in these backward areas.
PDP leaders also said that health and medicare facilities in these areas are minimal which has further aggravated the problems of the people.
PDP leaders demanded immediate measures for availability of essentials commodities and essential services to the people in Poonch, Rajouri, Kishtewar and Doda Districts.
