JAMMU, JAN: 13
In a anti encroachment drive at Vainaik Bazar, Indira Chowk, Shalamar, Below Gumat City Chowk, Kanak Mandi, Rajinder Bazar, Shahidi Chowk and Residency Road areas the Jammu Municipal Corporation seized five numbers of trucks loads of goods articles kept by the shopkeepers in front of their establishment by encroaching upon footpaths, Pavements. Even ten Reharies were also impounded for being stationary being without license.
The JMC appealed to the shopkeepers to keep their goods within their own premises and keep the footpaths and pavements free from any sort of encroachment which cause obstruction to the free flow of pedestrians and vehicular traffic.
