Live for Others -Being Helpful Foundation hosted national youth exchange programme

Jammu, May 7: Live For Others-Being Helpful Foundation (NGO) hosted 1st ever 3 days long National Youth Exchange Programme (NYEP) in J&K, U.T on theme "Role of Youth in Nation Building By Raising Voice Against Drug Menance” & National Youth Excellence Award-2023 at P.S.P.S Govt. P.G COLLEGE FOR WOMEN, Gandhi Nagar which is Powered by Talla Jewellers.
On day 1st, Poster Making Competition and Symposium Competition inaugurated by Former Cabinet Minister R.S Chib under the theme “Role of Youth in Nation Building By Raising Voice Against Drugs Menance”.
The winners of Poster Making competition were Meghana Goude (1st Position), Yeasmin Nahar (2nd Position) & Manisha Kumari (3rd Position). And the winners of Symposium Competition were Arushi from M.A.M College (1st Position), Geetika from M.A.M College (2nd Position) & Shreya Kalla from P.S.P.S P.G College For Women, Gandhi Nagar (3rd Position).
On day 2nd, Chandan Kohli, SSP Jammu City inaugurated the awarness rally under the theme “Role of Youth in Nation Building By Raising Voice Against Drugs Menance” in which various students from different institutions took part. The rally started from P.S.P.S Govt. College For Women, Gandhi Nagar to Dogra Chowk and back in which the youth raised various slogans against Drug Abuse and Menance. Students from different institutions also performed “Nukkad Natak” to aware the crowd and general public more about “Drugs & its abuse”.
On day 3rd which was the last day of the programme, Padma Bhushan Jenab Ghulam Nabi Azad, Cheif Guest of the day along with Padma Shri Sh. Mohan Singh (Guest of Honour) and various special guests including Ms. Kashish Gupta, (CEO Talla Jewellers), R.S Chib (Former Cabinet Minister), Mr. Jugal Kishore, Former Minister & Mr. Vishal Chopra jointly honoured 25 Social Workers namely Mohit Sharma, Kajal Yadav, Gaurav Arya, Dr. Nitika Singh Gaur (From U.P), Sachin Nandi, Saath Foundation (From Jharkhand), Azar Sumaiya Riyaz Motiwale, Meghana Shantaram Bhalekar, Pradnya Kalpana Shahji Sawant, Shubham Shailesh Gupta (From Maharashtra), Hrishi Sardana (Delhi), Mohit Yadav (Rajasthan), Pramesh Vijaywar (Chhattisgarh), Patel Mayurkumar Hirabhai (Gujarat), Vijayanti (Chandigarh), Chandan Kumar Dubey (Bihar), Sanjaykumar Y Biradar (Karnataka), Davera Manoj Khanna (Telangana), Ankit Chourasiya (Madhya Pradesh), P. Venkata Chaitanya Narayana (Andhra Pradesh), Lovepreet Sharma (Punjab), Irfan Ahmed, Sahil Ali, Stuti Abrol, Afreen Barkat (From J&K) who were from 16 states of the Nation and excelled in their continuous and tireless efforts for making this world a better place for every living being. Along with them the winners, participants and various artists were awarded for their outstanding performances.
