| Police foils bovine smuggling bid, 20 animals rescued | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, May 9: On intervening night Police Party of PP Sidhra at Naka Tawi Bridge Sidhra intercepted 02 vehicles. Vehicle bearing registeration No. JK19A-1487 loaded with 10 and second truck bearing Registration No.JK02CQ-2711 driven were loaded with 10 Bovine animals.
During checking of the vehicles total 20 bovine animals were found loaded mercilessly in cruel manner without fodder and water in above said vehicles. Both vehicles were seized and bovine animals rescued. In this regard case under Fir No.205/2023 U/S 188/IPC 11 PCA and FIR No 206/2023 U/S 188/IPC 11PCA have been registered and investigation started. |
