Registration of service providers to begin soon at Ramban: ALC

RAMBAN, May 9: Assistant Labour Commissioner (ALC), Ramban Dr. Shushant Mahajan today said that the registration of Workers who want to render their services for Shri Amar Nath Ji Yatra 2023 would be started soon in the district.
While briefing the media persons here, the ALC informed that the office of Assistant Labour Commissioner invited to all the service providers who are domicile of district Ramban i.e. Pony Walla, Pithu Wall, Palki wala, Helpers, workers besides others who want to render their services for Shri Amar Nath Ji Yatra 2023.
He also informed that the registration counter for online registration has been established in the ALC office. "Interested persons are requested to visit the ALC office for registration on all working days between 10:00 am to 3:00 pm along with the relevant documents including, Police verification report from concerned Police station, Fitness certificate of Animals ( Horse, Pony) from concerned Veterinary doctors, Aadhar card, 16 Digit Bank account number, E-Shram card, 3 passport size photographs and Blood group test report' he elaborated.
He said that the government has initiated the online provision to ensure hassle free registration of the service providers as per the guidelines and norms .
He added that after proper verification of the service providers from the concerned police station, the department would issue laminated I-cards to avoid any tempering. The department has also taken up the digitization of registration work to maintain proper record and to ensure that the task is completed without duplication.
The government is also providing prompt and hassle free registration and other services to the intending service providers as per the guidelines /norms on one counter" the ALC further said.
He maintained that any service provider who is a domicile of district Ramban shall not be allowed to work or render any service during Amar Nath Ji Yatra 2023 without obtaining registration number from this office.
