| Women, children cross LoC to escape domestic tension | | | Early Times Report
Jammu/Poonch, Jan 14: In a bizarre incident a woman along with her children crossed over to the Pakistan administered Kashmir to escape the alleged harassment her estranged husband and the family of parents-in-laws.
Five members of a family managed to exfiltrate into the Pakistan Administered Kashmir late last night from Shahpur area in Poonch district. Exfiltration of this unarmed woman reveals how porous the borders with our hostile neighbour are.

that a family from village Krini in Shahpur area of Poonch including 3 females crossed over to Pakistan administered Kashmir exposing the security apparatus along the border, even when the tension among both the countries as its peak.
Identified as Issha Bi wife of Mohd Rashid along with her children Abdul Wahid (21), Haroon Rashid (19), Zahida Parveen (16) and Shahida Parveen exfiltrate to the Pakistan administered Kashmir following a scuffle with her husband Mohd Rashid who is a mentally disturbed person.
Estranged relations between husband and wife were said to be the reason behind this move, villagers told this correspondent adding that the entire family left their house late last evening and crossed the line of control during the night hours.
Meanwhile, after getting the report of exfiltration Police visited the Kirni village and a FIR no: 9 of 2009 this connection has been lodged in the Police Station Poonch.
It is here worthwhile to mention here that in the recent past a woman namely Fozia had crossed over the border and returned after spending four months in Pakistan.
