Buglers decamped with cash chest of Masjid in Kishtwar

Kishtwar, May 15: In a Bahubhalli style, the buglers decamped with two quintal iron chest installed at Masjid Tallah in the heart of Kishtwar town along with the cash.
As per the details available with Early Times, the unidentified thieves during midnight carried out the burglary on Om Mehta road and shift the Iron chest with around two quintal in weight and left it abandon at an isolated forest area some 2KM away from the site of the incident after broken it and collect all the cash deposited by the people as a charity.
The iron chest was installed outside the mosque and buglers before executing the plan cut the wires of some CCTV camera, however before cutting the wires of CCTV, one such CCTV capture them and police is collecting the leads on the bases of the footage.
As soon as the Chairman Masjid Committee Abdul Kabir Rangreez notice the missing iron chest inform the police about the incident.
Following the report of the incident, senior police officials immediately rush to the spot along with FSL team to collect the evidences from the spot.
Dy. SP Hq Ashish Gupta, SHO Kishtwar Syed Abid Shah Bukhari, Incharge SHO Dilraj Singh also rush to the spot through our day today and later with the help of the people manage to locate the iron chest some two KM away from the Tersar forest area.
Senior police officials inform the Early Times that FIR was registered beside few suspect has been round up.
The senior officials again requested the religious institutions, businessman and corporate houses to install CCTVs to avoid theft cases.
