| Modi Govt steered India towards progress, pulled people out of poverty: Kavinder | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, May 15: Senior BJP leader and former deputy chief minister Kavinder Gupta on Monday decried Congress Governments of the past for ruining the country by way of abetting corruption. In a statement issued to media persons, the BJP stalwart said that the time under Congress regimes could be termed as Corruption Kaal for the country as rampant corruption was the hallmark of those dispensations under the most corrupt party of the country viz Congress.
He said that except giving big slogans like Gareebi Hatao, etc. the Congress leadership never took pain on ground leading the country towards poverty and dearth, as the statistics of those times clearly suggested. He said that it was BJP led Centre under the realms of PM Narendra Modi which finally steered the country towards progress and growth and pull out the people from poverty as the figures issued by IMF have testified. He said that PM Modi helped the country to transcend from Congress' Corruption Kaal to present Amrit Kaal, where people are thriving with vistas of opportunities and have number of reasons to live a well contented life with all the amenities and facilities reaching at their doorsteps without any discrimination or prejudice. He said unlike the Congress' regime when dearth and poverty ruled the roost today hope, happiness and good health have predominantly shaped the lives of the common man with welfare schemes of the Modi Government reaching out to every single individual whether living in urban areas or in far off hamlets, without any exception. |
