| BJP to bring Bill on delimitation in House: Jugal | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Jan 14- Asserting that BJP will bring the bill for delimitation of assembly constituencies in the forthcoming budget session of the state, Jugal Kishor senior BJP leader and MLA Nagrota has appealed all the like minded political parties to join hands over this issue so that the decades’ long discrimination with Jammu region is put to an end.
Addressing media persons here today he said ‘we stand by our commitment and will bring required Bill for Delimitation for ending discrimination in all three regions especially Jammu region.’ All the political parties should join hands over this issue of delimitation. He said the Jammu based parties will be taken into confidence before presenting the required bill in the assembly. ‘We will go for delimitation in order to safeguard the interests of Jammu and Ladakh and balanced development in Kashmir’, he added.
“It is painful that the chief minister is not serious over the issue as he is reportedly to have said that that delimitation was not their priority’; Sharma observed. ‘This time we will fully monitor the interests of Jammu people and appealed for convening of Assembly session to discuss the issues of public importance’, he added.
Since the coalition government has come into existence and all the members of treasury benches and the opposition should respect the verdict of public and should form an agenda for all around development of all regions, Sharma said.
