Jodhamal Kuthiala scholarships recognize academic excellence and social contribution

JAMMU, May 18: In a recent ceremony, the prestigious Rai Bahadur Jodhamal Kuthiala scholarships for the year 2023 were awarded in collaboration with Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board and Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Narayana Superspeciality Hospital. Anshul Garg (IAS), CEO of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board, graced the event and accepted the scholarships on behalf of the institutions.
During his address to the students, Anshul Garg emphasized the significance of instilling the spirit of "Giving Back to the Society" among the students. He praised their achievements and encouraged them to make positive contributions to society.
The scholarship distribution will continue with the Jammu Chapter, where 60 to 70 scholarships will be awarded to meritorious girls studying in 10th, 11th, and 12th grades in Government Schools of the border areas of Jammu Province. Additionally, scholarships will be awarded to girls from border areas of Jammu, Samba, Poonch, Kathua, Rajouri, and Himachal Pradesh.
In line with their commitment to society, Jodhamal School introduced the theme "We are the World," highlighting their contributions through donations, scholarships, charity work, environmental initiatives, awareness campaigns, street plays, cleanliness drives, and more. Trustee Nandan Kuthiala and Principal Girish Kumar of Jodhamal were present at the event, demonstrating their support for the students' achievements.
