JAMMU, May 18: Mayor Rajinder Sharma extended the anti-polythene and anti-plastic campaign to Government B.Ed College and Diwan Badri Nath School on Canal Road. The Mayor received a warm welcome from the educational institutions, with students and staff actively participating in the movement.
During the event, the Mayor shared his experience of discovering biodegradable carry bags made of cellulose and starch, which will soon be introduced in Jammu. He emphasized the importance of authorized dealers and manufacturers to prevent illegal duplication.
