MADHYA PRADESH, May 19: Senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister, Kavinder Gupta, praised the Modi-led government for its successful efforts in restoring peace and normalcy in Jammu and Kashmir. Speaking to the media after offering prayers at Matangeshwar Mahadev Mandir, Gupta highlighted the government's policy of zero tolerance against terrorism and its positive impact on tourism in the region. He emphasized that the record-breaking number of tourists visiting Jammu and Kashmir is a testament to the prevailing tranquility and renewed confidence among travelers.
Gupta also emphasized the cultural and tourist significance of Madhya Pradesh, particularly the renowned Khajuraho Temples, which showcase the exquisite sculptures depicting India's rich ancient culture. He stressed the need to preserve the cultural heritage of Jammu and Kashmir and called upon all stakeholders and the public to make the region an ideal destination for tourism and travel.
During his visit, Gupta explored the breathtaking Panna Tiger Reserve, a critical habitat for tigers located in the Vindhya Hills of northern Madhya Pradesh. He marveled at the natural beauty, waterfalls, archaeological splendors, and cultural richness of the reserve. Additionally, he visited the impressive Khajwa Kutni Dam, the largest dam in Chhatarpur District, known for its scenic beauty and the Kutni island resort. Kavinder Gupta's visit highlighted the positive impact of the Modi government's initiatives in restoring peace and promoting tourism in Jammu and Kashmir, as well as the cultural and natural wonders of Madhya Pradesh.
