Early Times Report SAMBA, May 20: Samba Police, under the supervision of SSP Samba Benam Tosh, successfully traced and reunited seven additional missing/allegedly kidnapped persons, including six females, with their families. This brings the total number of traced individuals to 40, including 30 females, within a span of four months. Promptly responding to the reports of disappearances and missing persons, concerned police stations and police posts registered FIRs and initiated thorough investigations. Dedicated police teams, led by SHOs and in-charge officers from various stations, worked tirelessly to locate and recover the missing individuals from different areas. The police personnel involved in the successful operations include SHO Police Station Bari Brahmana Sunil Sharma, SHO Police Station Samba Rajeshwar Singh, SHO Police Station Ghagwal Bharat Bhushan, SHO Police Station Vijaypur Tribhawan Khajuria, Incharge Police Post Rakh Amb Talli Vineet Singh, and Incharge Police Post Rajpura Sudhir Singh, under the supervision of Deputy SP Garu Ram Bhardwaj, SDPO Bari Brahmana Rahul Nagar, and Additional SP Samba Surinder Choudhary. SSP Samba Benam Tosh expressed satisfaction with the efforts of the police force in tracing and reuniting missing persons with their families. He emphasized that a total of 40 missing/allegedly kidnapped persons, including 30 females, have been located in the past four months. The search operations spanned across various regions, including Kashmir, Ramban, Bhaderwah, Pathankot (Punjab), Amritsar (Punjab), Jalandhar (Punjab), Nainital (Uttarakhand), Katra, Saidpur (Punjab), Jammu, and other places.
