Early Times Report
MENDHAR, May 20: Javed Rana, President of NC's Pir Panjal Zone, delivered a passionate speech on Saturday, urging the people to ensure the departure of the BJP from the government. Rana claimed that the BJP's divisive agenda can never lead India to become a "Vishav Guru" (world leader), but instead only promotes hate politics that damage the country's image and create divisions among its people.
Addressing a large public gathering in Khanetar, Haveli area of Poonch, the former MLA expressed his concerns about the BJP's leadership and their authoritarian governance style, which diminishes the voice and rights of the common man. He asserted that the BJP government has significantly undermined Indian democracy, and it will take years to rebuild the country's image as a leading democratic nation.
According to Rana, the only way to save India from potential collapse and protect its institutions is to remove the BJP from all forms of government. He accused the Saffron party's leadership of prioritizing their vested interests and damaging institutions by uncontrolled interference, contrary to the principles of democracy.
Rana emphasized the need for a holistic approach to rejuvenate the tourism and healthcare sectors in Jammu and Kashmir. He criticized the incumbent government for ineffective measures and unfulfilled promises, as tourist destinations like Poonch, Rajouri, and Bhaderwah continue to struggle with low footfall.
The senior NC leader also highlighted the dire state of the education sector in the Pir Panjal region under the BJP government, describing it as lagging behind in imparting quality education.
Seeking support for his party, Rana asserted that the National Conference (NC) is best equipped to fulfill the aspirations of the people. He claimed that the NC understands the issues and problems faced by the people and has the means to resolve them.
