Early Times Report JAMMU, May 20: On the instructions of the Directorate of HG, CD, and SDRF J&K, a 5-day training programme was inaugurated at New National Hr. Sec. School Talli Morh Miran Sahib, Jammu. The training is being conducted under the supervision of Deputy SP Anita Pawar, Deputy Controller Civil Defence, Jammu. A total of 70 students from the Hr. Sec. School are participating in the basic Civil Defence training, which includes First Aid & Fire Fighting, Snakebite, Choking, and other life-saving techniques and preventive measures during natural or man-made disasters. During the opening ceremony, Deputy SP Anita Pawar delivered a lecture emphasizing the role of Civil Defence and the importance of the training. She highlighted the practical benefits this training holds for everyday life. Paramjit Kumar, Chief Warden of Civil Defence Jammu, also addressed the gathering and emphasized the setup of the organization, particularly the crucial role of wardens in the Civil Defence setup. The Principal of Hr. Sec. School, S. Balkaran Singh, expressed his gratitude in the vote of thanks at the end of the program. Other dignitaries present at the occasion include: R.
