Jammu, Jan16-The Army and the intelligence agencies continued to carry out search operations in the Bhatti Dhar forest belt and its adjoining areas after the troops failed to nab or eliminate a group of 10 militants who had been holed up in a concrete bunker and had managed to escape.
Reports received by the Army authorities revealed that one militant had been injured in the retaliatory fire of the troops in Bhatti Dhar area. The injured militant is said to have been taken to an isolated place on this side of the LOC. Reports revealed that one Dr Shafiq had been treating the wounded militant. On the basis of these reports the troops have intensified the search operations. So far there has been no success because the exact location of the hideout, where the injured militant was being treated by the doctor, had not been ascertained.
