Kashmir's enthusiastic response rebuts Pakistan and its stooges: Rana
5/25/2023 9:37:50 PM
Early Times Report

JAMMU, May 25: Senior BJP leader Devender Singh Rana praised and congratulated the people of Jammu and Kashmir for successfully hosting the G20 Working Group on Tourism in Srinagar. He stated that the enthusiastic response from the people of Kashmir sends a clear message to the world that the region is not what is being portrayed by a vocal but motivated few. Rana commended the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi for inspiring Kashmiris to embrace peace and harmony.
He emphasized that the successful hosting of the G20 event in Kashmir, with the participation of member nations (except China), and the overwhelming response from the people of Jammu and Kashmir, is a significant blow to Pakistan and its supporters on this side of the border.
Recognizing the determination of the people to prioritize peace and their long-standing hospitality, Rana expressed confidence that Jammu and Kashmir is on track to achieve significant milestones in the tourism sector following this international event.
He highlighted the global attention on this event due to its geopolitical importance and its potential to bring economic growth and investment to the region. Rana stated that holding such a mega international conclave in Kashmir demonstrates the desire and commitment of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to bring Jammu and Kashmir to the forefront.
Referring to the momentous changes since the reorganization of Jammu and Kashmir in 2019, Rana mentioned the effective measures taken to combat terrorism, promote development, and stimulate economic resurgence.
Rana commended Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha for his leadership and personal supervision, which led to the tireless efforts of the J&K government and its officials in making the G20 event a success.
He emphasized that the event left a lasting impression of hospitality on the participating delegates and exposed the few discarded elements who attempted to generate opposition to the conclave. Rana criticized these political opportunists for their dubious roles as fair-weather nationalists and seasonal separatists, based on their political expediency.
Rana also highlighted the initiatives taken by the central and UT governments over the past four years to foster inclusive and holistic development in Jammu and Kashmir. He urged party workers to raise awareness among the public about the efforts being made for faster development, job creation, and the implementation of welfare schemes in all regions of the Union Territory.
