5/25/2023 10:21:07 PM

Early Times Report

DODA, May 25: In an effort to deliver healthcare services to the doorstep of the people, the health department, under the guidance of Deputy Commissioner Doda, organized a day-long disability assessment camp at the Community Health Centre Gandoh, as part of the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.
The camp, supervised by Chief Medical Officer Dr. A.H. Zargar and guided by BMO Gandoh Dr. Ghansham Singh, witnessed the participation of people from various parts of the Gandoh Sub-Division. A team of consultants provided consultations to the attendees.
The board of doctors, including Dr. Fayaz ul Haq (Consultant Physician), Dr. Bishen Singh (Consultant Orthopedic), and Dr. Abdul Gafoor (MO MS Ophthalmology), examined approximately 100 patients who sought medical check-ups and assessments for their disabilities.
The camp's success was also attributed to the services and support of Arun Singh (Jr Assistant) and Mohammad Umar (DEO) from CMO Office Doda, along with the staff of CHC Gandoh.
CMO Doda Dr. A.H. Zargar explained that the objective of the camp was to offer comprehensive services to the people at their doorstep. He added that similar camps will be organized in other Medical Blocks of the District in the near future. In another development, Block Medical Officer Gandoh Dr. Ghansham Singh conducted an inspection of HWC-Sub Centre Kilhotran to assess its functioning and medical facilities. He interacted with the patients, staff, and the public, seeking feedback on various healthcare-related matters.
Later, BMO Gandoh inspected the progress of the newly constructed HWC Kilhotran building and urged the concerned department to complete any pending work promptly to enhance patient care in the area.
