India's inclusion in 'NATO Plus 5' validates global standing: Kavinder
5/27/2023 10:18:02 PM
Early Times Report
JAMMU, May 27: Kavinder Gupta, senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and former Deputy Chief Minister, hails the United States Congressional Committee's recommendation to include India in NATO Plus as a testament to India's towering stature on the global stage. He attributes this significant achievement to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and emphasizes the need for opposition parties to recognize India's international standing. Gupta also commends the National Investigation Agency (NIA) for seeking the death penalty for Yasin Malik.
In a press statement, Gupta highlights the recent development of a powerful Congressional Committee endorsing the strengthening of NATO Plus by incorporating India ahead of Prime Minister Modi's visit to the United States. He explains that the inclusion of India in this security arrangement will enable seamless intelligence sharing and access to advanced military technology. The move signifies the confidence of the United States and other nations in India's capabilities.
Gupta emphasizes that India's membership in NATO Plus will not only focus on security matters but also provide an opportunity to address various global issues for the collective welfare of nations. He asserts that the strengthened partnership between the United States and India through NATO Plus will enhance global security and counter the aggressive actions of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) in the Indo-Pacific region.
Additionally, Gupta commends the NIA for seeking the death penalty for Yasin Malik, a terrorist involved in numerous anti-India activities. He accuses Malik of orchestrating attacks on security forces, targeting minority communities in Kashmir, facilitating terrorist training in Pakistan, and organizing funding for terrorist strikes in India. Gupta firmly supports the NIA's initiative, asserting that individuals like Malik deserve the harshest punishment..
